Terms of service

These terms cover your use of ExtensionDash. Using the service means accepting them. They are written to be read rather than to be impressive, and there is nothing buried in them.
What the service does
ExtensionDash records how the Chrome and Firefox extensions you nominate perform in their stores: install counts, ratings, where they rank for search terms you choose, and what their listings say. It reads public store pages and keeps a history of what it saw. It can also answer those questions to an AI agent you connect over the Model Context Protocol.
It is a beta, and it is free
The service is in beta and currently costs nothing. That cuts both ways: there is no charge, and there is no service-level promise. Features may change or be withdrawn, and scraping may fail when a store changes its pages. If charging ever starts, existing accounts get notice by email first and nothing begins billing without an explicit opt-in.
Your account
One account is for one person. Keep your password and your API token private — the token reads everything your dashboard shows and can add or remove tracked keywords, so treat it as a password. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think it has been taken.
What you may not do
Do not use the service to break the law. Do not try to reach another user's data, disrupt the service, or work around its rate limits. Do not automate against it in a way designed to load it heavily — the API token exists so an agent can read your data, not so it can be scraped in bulk.
Store data
Figures shown here are observations of public store pages at the moment they were taken. They can be wrong, stale, rounded by the store itself, or missing when a fetch fails. Ranking positions depend on the depth searched and on the store language, both of which are recorded alongside every position for exactly that reason. Do not treat any of it as authoritative; the stores themselves are.
No warranty, and what we owe
The service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, lose data, or produce wrong numbers. To the extent the law permits, the operator is not liable for losses arising from using it or from being unable to use it — including lost revenue or lost rankings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop at any time and ask for your account to be deleted; the privacy policy says how. An account may be suspended or closed for breaking these terms, or if the service shuts down — in which case account holders get email notice and a chance to export.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and material changes are sent to account holders by email.
